Terms of Service

By accessing or using Zeriq ("Service", "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, free-tier users, and paid subscribers.

Zeriq is operated by Zeriq Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Zeriq. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Zeriq on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You may sign in via GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials secure and notify us immediately at support@zeriq.dev if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are compromised or in breach of these Terms.

• Free tier: Available at no cost, subject to usage limits described on our pricing page.
• Pro and Team plans: Billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial periods unless required by applicable law.
• Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes via email or in-app notification.
• Taxes: Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes imposed on your purchase.

Paid plans include a monthly frontier model credit allowance (see pricing page). When your frontier allowance is exhausted, requests are automatically routed to cost-efficient fallback models at no extra charge — you are never hard-blocked. Unused monthly allowances do not roll over to the next billing period.

You may purchase additional frontier credit packs at any time. These one-time purchases are processed securely via Stripe (including from our mobile apps, which link to checkout in your browser), are consumed only after your monthly allowance is used, and do not expire. Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by law.

If you bring your own OpenRouter API key ("BYO key"), charges for that key are governed by your agreement with OpenRouter. We are not responsible for costs incurred through BYO keys.

You agree not to use Zeriq to:

• Generate, distribute, or facilitate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or authentication mechanisms.
• Violate any applicable law, including intellectual property, privacy, or export control laws.
• Use AI outputs to create malware, exploit vulnerabilities without authorisation, or attack systems you do not own.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

You retain all intellectual property rights in the code, files, and content you create or upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., sending code to AI providers to fulfil your requests).

AI-generated outputs are provided as-is. You are responsible for reviewing and testing any AI suggestions before using them in production. We make no warranties regarding the correctness, safety, or fitness of AI outputs.

Zeriq integrates with third-party services including GitHub, Stripe, OpenRouter, Google Firebase, E2B, and Tavily. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

All rights in the Zeriq platform, branding, and technology (excluding your content) are owned by Zeriq Inc. or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trade names, trademarks, logos, or other branding.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zeriq Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Account deletion removes your Zeriq profile and stored usage data. Stripe subscription data is retained by Stripe per their data retention policies. Code and files are stored locally in your browser and are removed when you clear browser storage or uninstall the app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
